Students we've encouraged

Luni: Masters Education - FUNDED

Luni completed her Master's degree in Microbiology. We raised $2,000 USD to help finance her enrollment in a TU affiliated university. She is among the first generation of women in her family to pursue higher education.

Keshar: English COURSE - FUNDED

Keshar is a mountaineering guide from a village outside of Lukla. A young father with family obligations, tuition was a huge strain on his finances. We raised $300 USD to send Keshar to an English program in Kathmandu so he can improve his skills and advance professionally.

Teachers we're proud to support

NGAWANG: MATH

Ngawang successfully completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education. He is the first in his family to do so. In addition to serving the Matepani community, Ngawang is Executive Director of Learning House.

MANOJ: Business

We sponsored Manoj's teaching salary for one year and trained him as a facilitator at Learning House. He taught our Nepali Ammas' Basic English course and managed community programs. Now Manoj works in Pokhara’s business sector.
